Anno 1701 is a real-time strategy game that puts you in the year 1701 A.D. in one of the most prosperous times of ancient times.
You will be able to control the whole civilization and you will have a great amount of resources. In order to get hold of these resources you will have to carry out all the necessary activities to get there. It will not be enough to order wood, you will have to build sawmills, organize forest felling, polish and cut the wood in the desired format.
If you need food you must create farms, sow, take care of the harvest, collect, use a part of your production for consumption, another for sale and a third to feed the animals, which you must have if you want to eat meat.
In addition, your civilization has an advanced trade system with which you can exchange surplus production for money, improve your fleet of ships and travel elsewhere to expand the business.
